NEIL O. ALBERT

Neil O. Albert is a prominent leader with extensive experience in policy, economic development, and education. As President and Executive Director of the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID), he brings his expertise to the organization's efforts to promote and enhance the downtown district. Neil's impressive career also includes serving as City Administrator and Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development for Mayor Adrian Fenty, co-founding the educational services firm EdBuild, and working as Deputy Mayor for Children, Youth, Families, and Elders and Director of the District's Department of Parks and Recreation under Mayor Anthony Williams.

Neil serves as vice president of the board of library trustees and chair of the facilities committee for the Martin Luther King—Jr—Memorial Library in the BID. His dedication to public service, extensive experience, and commitment to excellence make him a valuable leader and asset to any organization.
