The SYCEP is a six-week paid opportunity for youth in Prince George’s County, ages 16–24.
This program helps you explore career options, build confidence, and gain real-world experience. You’ll spend time working with a host employer while also participating in hands-on workshops and training that prepare you for the workplace.

Program Details

Program Dates: Monday, June 29 - Friday, August 7, 2026

Hourly Rate: $18/hour

Schedule: Interns will work 20 hours per week during the program (16 hours with a host employer + 4 hours of professional development).

Training: All interns must participate in mandatory orientation and professional development sessions.
